The Stupidest Thing To Do On Valentine's Day

It was Valentine's Day. The 'Big' Day.

I ran to work and my feet ended up all sweaty and painful inside the stupid new shoes which was supposed to be very comfortable.

The culprit.

I think it should declare this to all consumers : Designed to marinate your feet in it's own sweat.

That's what it felt like. Like my feet was being marinated in it's own sweat inside the stuffy shoes.

Desperate, I removed my shoes and wore it as slippers in order to air my smelly feet a little.

The cold air in Sim Lim Square seeped into my shoes, chasing away the damp stickiness and massaging my sore feet.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, bliss.

So throughout the day I tried to air my feet as much as i could to relieve some of its pain...until 7.45 pm...

I saw something out of the corner of my eye and looked up from whatever i was doing. There he was, standing right outside the shop. Grinning widely, he revealed what he had been hiding...

.

a rose...

There was no 'oh-wow-a-rose-i'm-so-delighted' since i couldn't really accept the rose while working, except to smile in mild amusement :)

After work, we ate the 'famous' Wanton Noodles and trudged around Bugis with our $3 Uzumaki Bubble Milk Tea ice cream (damn nice! the usual price is like $7+?) . I say trudged because my feet was hurting like crazy and I still had to half drag a reluctant DC around lol.

omg! don't you think this looks like an ice cream commercial??

He looks like he's making a statement : Ice Cream Forever. lol :D

later on the way home, I did the Stupidest Thing Ever at Bugis Mrt.

The Stupidest Thing To Do On Valentine's Day

Hand in hand, DC and I walked into Bugis Mrt

We broke apart for a second to tap our Ez-link cards...

A girl walking past me caught my attention...

While staring at her, I instinctively/habitually raised my hand to grab DC's arm...

Suddenly, I heard DC's voice..."Oie!"

I looked up.

and found myself staring into the face of another guy.

the guy stared at me shocked with raised eyebrows like i was an irksome bug.

realization of my faux pas hit me...whAM.

i dropped his arm like hotcakes.

flushing deeply, I looked around and saw DC...

i hurried up to him, and took the right arm this time...

end of mortifying incident.

blehhh, of all the days to choose...i just had to do such a stupid thing on Valentine's Day. =.="
