UP!!! I swore I was going to watch this ever since I saw it's trailer last year when watching Iron Man.
When I first saw it, I was thinking...OMG someone has the same dream as me!!!

When I was young, I always fantasied about living on the road...in actual moving houses.
Like in a caravan.
There was something strangely appealing about being able to peer out into unfamiliar territory yet still feel right at home.
I longed for both the wondrous adventure of the unknown and the cozy warmth of home.
So the imagination of a 5 year old ran amuck...
and soon I wanted to tie balloons onto my own house to make it fly.
That was my compromise between magic and reality.
Not a plane for a house - too boringly practical.
Not wings sprouting from my house - so absurd, even a 5 year old knows that.
But a house flying on balloons...feasible yet still so magical.
It was perfect.
And now I realize that Pixar stole my dream!
Hm no, Carl stole it!
The Culprit.
Carl is a retired balloon salesman who stole my brilliant idea and tied thousands of balloons to house's roof. (It's not fair! I didn't have enough money to buy so many balloons at 5...)
I think he puts up a cold front but deep down...ok maybe deep deeeeep down he's actually a very kind soul.
Where is he going with his flying house? And WHY?
I sure hope he doesn't lose it with silly Russell around.. XD

and also the silliest, funniest and most adorable little boy I've ever seen!
I can't wait to see what sort of trouble that silly bum gets himself into!

It is a 13 foot tall version of the Dodo bird for god's sake! (which, by the way are supposed to be gone from the face of the Earth)

It's been quite a while since I last went to the cinema...I don't even know if this movie already aired here or not.
So you also got the idea of tying lots and lots of balloons to your house to make it fly and be able to take it to anywhere? Well, I never thought of doing that...I guess it's because I've always lived in an apartment so it would have to have the agreement of all the other people who also live here.
But it's really an interesting idea no? How many balloons would be needed to do such feat? How about starting a campaign to collect balloons? :)
